On December 16, 2021, Typhoon Rai (local name Odette) brought torrential rains, violent winds, landslides and storm surges in the provinces of Surigao del Norte and Dinagat Islands in MIndanao, in five provinces of Visayas and in the island of Palawan.
The Rotary Club of Multinational Manila (RiMM) donated the amount of P20,000 on January 5, 2022 to the Arts Relief Mobile Kitchen (ARMK), a group consists of volunteers that aims to feed the hungry through community kitchen organized especially for the victims of Typhoon Rai this time.
On January 6, 2022 ARMK served hot meals consisting of Mung beans, pork sinigang and rice to over 1,000 individuals in the hard hit town of San Jose, Dinagat Island where almost nothing was left in the homes of the people.
ARMK completed a 7 day feeding mission in Dinagat Island and almost cooked 7,000 hot meals in the towns of Agusan Del Norte, Surigao Del Norte and Bohol.
ARMK shared happiness with RIMM to feed many homeless and hungry victims of the typhoon.
