Another Community Pantry event was held on May 15, 2021 at the new Barangay Sicat hall premise organized by the Brgy. Sicat officials and Brgy. Sicat Women’s Council.
Pres. Lito & PP Raymund attended the event with Julie Ann and Katrina.
A variety of fresh vegetables, rice, assorted canned goods, trays of eggs, noodles, condiments, packs of coffee and creamer, sweet pineapple, supplements, face shields and masks were distributed to over 250 needy residents of Brgy. Sicat.
The above items were donated from individuals and the Luksuhin Market Association.
We saw residents of Camp Hope (nearby indigent setlers) who lined up early with their ecology bags so they can bring food for their families.
RIMM donated 50kg of rice and 4 trays of eggs.
The Brgy. Sicat Captain Arnel Caisip was grateful to RIMM for contributing to the Community Pantry event for the second time. Gina Vedan of DSWD along with Len Reyes, President of the Alfonso Women’s Council (AWC) who were present in the event were also thankful for the participation of RIMM.
