On December 30, 2020 our club sponsored a Christmas gift event in barangay Kaytitinga Uno, Alfonso, Cavite.
Present were our club president (TP) Lito, past president Raymund, Honorary member and Sargent of Philippine Army Reserve Command (ARESCOM) Jun Baurile, Sgt. Janet of ARESCOM and Gina of Department of Social Welfare Development (DSWD) Alfonso, who shared vital information on Responsible Parenthood, Teenage Pregnancy and Vasectomy.
There were 60 participants (indigents and 4 P’s members of the community) who received a bag of rice, assorted canned goods and noodles.
The indigent recipients as well as barangay volunteers received P100 cash each.
During the event Raymund thanked past president Don Shields of Rotary Club of Geelong Central in Australia for his generous donation for the event and everyone applauded to show their heartfelt gratitude.
The Barangay captain Noralyn Hernando and her team awarded our club a Certificate of Appreciation.
