On June 7, 2024 the Rotary International Multinational Manila (RIMM) distributed 22 bags of 5kg rice to indigent families living under a bridge in Barangay Sicat, Alfonso, Cavite. Present were RIMM Past President Casey Takayama and Maki Nakajima, a Japanese guest and a RIMM member.
Their homes were made of pieces of scraps. They do farming and planting pineapples around the area as their livelihood. The children were happy to receive chocolate bars, biscuits and drinks during the event.
