On October 15 through 17, 2024, our club Rotarian Imelda and Past President Ivan supported Indigenous Peoples’ month celebration at Bataan, Subic, Philippines.
Different folks of life, such as Aeta and Ambala joined the event and presented their traditional cooking and food, as master chef competition.
The champion received a 5,000 peso prize and the other top three received 1,000 pesos each. The total prize amount was P10,000 including other winners.
It was a joyful event and meant for preserving their culture.
